Based in Vancouver, BC, Vincent Parker is dual citizen (France/Canada), a visual artist and former electronic producer currently undergoing a sonic reinvention.
After years immersed in the experimental electronic scene, he recently fell for the pedal steel guitar—originally intending to retire the synthesizers for good. Instead, the two worlds collided.
With influences that include everything from car bass music to french ballades, this new work is an attempt to bring pedal steel to a new audiences. Opening the sonic possibilities and horizons for an instrument usually only associated with country music.
